Dor Ben Lulu and Ilan Barkani are adept at manipulating both electronic and acoustic instruments. Their music blends these elements, creating a rich and diverse sound world and exploring its vast and spacious sonic landscapes. With a shared passion for experimentation, they collaborate to craft real-time compositions that reflect their combined musical vision, offering listeners a refreshing take on contemporary music that bridges, and blurs the boundaries, between the electronic and the acoustic, between the abstract and rhythmic.
Their debut album 'Man of the Book', which was recorded live in their studio, reflects the wide range of sound the duo produces. The piece develops over time, adding and moving between different textures and soundscapes, inviting the listener to join the duo as they spontaneously sculpt the piece

Ilan Barkani
Multidisciplinary artist, composer and improviser, living and working in Jerusalem, a founding member of the Jerusalem artist collective "Sedek", and a creative member of the interdisciplinary collaborative ensemble “Ptilia".
His artistic work focuses mainly on the fields of music, sound and performance.
In his works, he engages in search for midpoints between the tactility of the physical-acoustic and the randomness made possible by the electronic (analog and digital), examining the tension between freedom and control (human and non-human), the democratization of music making, and different types of communication and interaction within musical situations.
Beside music and sound, he combines practice with video, sculpture, painting and drawing as part of his stage works and separately from them.
